Kraken is a marketplace for adventure sailing trips which means that your booking is made directly with the independent operator and is booked on their terms and conditions. For this reason, the amount of deposit and cancellation policy varies
On each individual trip page in the ‘Your Trip’ section, a summary of the deposit and cancellation policy is shown, e.g. ‘50% and Strict’.Full details of each particular policy are set out below.
Deposits
The percentage listed is the amount of the overall trip price that needs to be paid as a deposit to confirm the booking.
For some trips you will see a cash amount. Payment of this amount confirms the booking.
Please note that bookings made less than 12 weeks from the trip start date require payment in full.
